Hello guys.

I went through DACA but since then I've married a US citizen. I'm in the process of applying for perminent recidence status and have just recieved my new EAD card with my new last name. I've also just gotten my first real job and I have to fill out a tax form. Its the W9.

I want to know if the w9 is the right form or if I need another. It says to sign it if Im a US Citizen or a US resident Alien. I called USCIS to ask them what I was but they were no help at all.

So am I a resident alien? Is it safe for me to sign the form or will this come back to bite me in the ass?

So then the question is am I still under daca? Since I've gotten married and received a new employment authorization card through that petition, I mean.

I think you should know that. I mean I would clear that up with uscis as quickly as possible.
