Does anyone else get nervous when they see a cop even though you have DACA? - Page 2

My friend and I got pulled over (she was driving a GTR) she didn't pull over and just sped off. I just went no contact as I can't tolerate stupid people.

I do not tend to worry as much as I used to. Although I am still without status, I don't think as often about that as I used to!

As a kid I used to be afraid of heavy armed cops but now that I'm studying criminal justice and dreaming of becoming a U.S. MARSHALL I look at them like anyone else.. I even do internship at my local police department and been on couple of ride along rides with some of them..

nope. .got pulled over for speeding and just acted normal. .
and now when i see them driving down the street i dont even worry when i see them
going slow i'll just keep on going at whatever speed i'm going and pass them on by. .
i went through 2 checkpoints in a week. .not on purpose. .but they were there and
i was actually disappointed i didnt get pulled over to check on the license or anything
just got waved by ha

Funny thing was that before the DACA started, I drove with my expired (1 year) DL..

I got pulled over for going 85 in CA 10 interstate at 1 am in the morning...

It was the most nervous and frightening moment in my life when suddenly big flash of light behind me... And because I was illegal, I was soooo scared... I thought my life would be over and would get deported and sober a little...

but then, two cops came angry because I was going over the speed limit... he asked me if I did drink or from the area... I said no to both and he just wrote me a ticket and left.

I just am thankful to those cops.. they were nice about it and didn't mention about expired license...

Why do people drive with their expired DL....... or carry them with you. Isnt it worse to drive with an expired DL than with no DL?
