Carrying knives

Are there any restrictions on us regarding carrying knives?

The carrying of knives in public is forbidden or restricted by law in many countries. Exceptions may be made for hunting knives, pocket knives, and knives used for work-related purposes (chef's knives, etc.), depending upon the laws of a given jurisdiction. In turn, the carrying or possessing of certain type of knives perceived as deadly or offensive weapons such as automatic or switchblade knives or butterfly knives may be restricted or prohibited.

I know the knife laws in the states I'm interested in.

My question is (sorry I should have phrased it better) : do these law apply equally to US citizens and us?

Nope. You don't need a license to carry a knife, and there's no further restrictions on us, however some states have extremely shit knife laws. NY being one of those states where the law is so vague that anything can be counted as a dangerous weapon, to the point it was overturned in appeals court for being too vague, but then the appellate division reinstated it.

Well, first you need to worry about if you can carry one and how long, here in Oregon anything is fine that is less than 3 inches. But then you also have to worry about concealment laws

yea make sure if you get pulled over for any reason or for some reason get searched mention to them you have a knife with you that way you wont get in trouble for trying to hide it.
