I have an appointed that I prefer not to make so that i can work. Are walk ins just like that?walk in whichever day without notice before your original appointment?

Yes! Don't forget to try a few different offices and try to go when they are not busy (for me it was around 1 or 2 p.m... I think).

The first place I went to was super rude. When I got home I looked up more information here on this forum and sure enough, everyone was talking about how that office sucked.
The second office I went to was way better and the guy was so nice but he said they were very busy that week and that I should try the next week. Well, I had nothing to lose so I went back the next day. Very busy. I went the day after that. Empty!

I don't think the guy was lying, I think he was just being overly cautious (this was around Sept when tons of us were renewing). I'm glad I kept going back because initially I didn't want to seem too desperate but really, who cares?
