Stay on topic. OP is seeking advice on his wife's legal situation. He does not want/need your opinion on his home life. FYI this falls into disrespecting other members.

gomavs13, I am with everyone else telling you to get a second opinion. We have all seen numerous people here get terrible advice from the first attorney they speak with. Just be sure to do a bit of research (aka Google the attorney's name) before paying any fees. You can also check out AVVO.com and find a highly rated lawyer in your area.

Thanks, it's been a learning process. The attorney we found was rated high on Google but after doing more research we found a larger much more popular firm that we are going to visit with in the next few weeks.
Either way DAPA looks like it's definitely gonna work for us, but we really wanna shoot for permanent residency.

Good luck to you and your family. Be sure to keep us posted. If there is anything we can do to help, let us know.

From what I know after she gets approved for DACA or DAPA. Apply for advance parole use it to take care of her EWI.

Someone here in this forums has done it. That person got her/his EWI cleared and was able to apply for permanent residency.

Don't lose hope. The moment you guys do its over.

A lot of lawyers do not know what they are talking about. And most of them only care about money so be really careful.

If you've only talked to 1 lawyer, definitely get a second, third or fourth opinion.

Good luck !

Again, thank you for this input, thanks for taking the time to reply. Very much appreciated.
YES !! I am so mad! why lawyers are like that! you know I was rejected by one lawyer. he told that I did not qualify for DACA because I enter twice!! so don't worried!! You MUST SEE ANOTHER LAWYER as soon as posible. I know she can qualify!! JUST HAVE FAITH!!

I think lawyers in general don't want to tackle cases like this because they don't want bad rep. They want people to know, "wow they were able to fix their status!! Hes a good lawyer!!" instead of "well, the lawyer took our money and wasn't able to help us

the lawyer didn't lie here as someone has said, they just don't know .. enough or are experience and experience lawyers who are comfortable dealing with these kinds of things charge a lot of money

I hope it all works out for you. I'm with everyone else - speak with another attorney and do some in-depth research before committing to anything.

Best of luck.

Get DAPA when it's available- Get advance parole- If she has no criminal background she can get in, because it won't show. How do i know? I did it, i just got back with Advance parole. And now, i have entry with inspection. If i marry my Boyfriend whom is a US citizen i can get my permanent residency. Your lawyer is incapable. Get a second opinion. Because it worked for me, and it should work for your wife. By the way, go with her. My boyfriend came and we had a great time connecting with family.
