Hi Guys!

I just want to let everyone know that USCIS will begin accepting applications for expanded DACA on Feb. 18, 2015

I've been checking the DACA site lately and I just found out that they have updated it today(Jan 29)

Well, I received my EAD a week ago - it's based on non-DACA deferred action. I had biometrics done early December, paid $385.00, it's valid for 1 year only. And now that I qualify for expanded DACA, I can apply in less than a month, have to pay another $465.00. Lovely.

On a side note, my non-DACA EAD was processed relatively fast, 65 days. But it went to the National Benefits Center. Now, I'm going to contact USCIS because I just had biometrics done last month, and my understanding is that they are valid for 6 months. I will apply, pay $465.00, but I don't see the need I have to clog up the queue for biometrics when it clearly shows that I've just had them done. Lots of pending ?s

Well this is interesting.. My first day to submit renewal forms is March 31st.. I expire August 28th..

I was already planning on submitting the renewal form but I wonder if I can do the expansion instead?
Its just 1 year but that's alot of time to lose if I just renew my DACA and get 3 years from August, when this could push it back til next year.

is this for the new people that fall in the new category to get DACA?

or is this for the people who have Daca for 2 years And need to renew once again after that date?

Can someone clarify please.
