Lol when i said i got a status update "card in production" meant my application got approval.

Sometimes the "approval email/letter" for 821-d follows but not all the time.

So when you get a status update "card in production" means you were approved already otherwise they would not issue your card. One or the other you are fine.

For those who are DACA recipients who are in removal proceedings I want to let you guys know that my removal order was administratively closed as of today.

If you are in removal proceedings and applied for DACA and got approved. You hire a lawyer and show up in court and file a motion to administrative close your removal order. The judge will let you off the hook right away. My court hearing was today and it only took like 5-10 minutes.

Make sure you guys hire a good, knowledge and affordable lawyer. Some lawyers charge $5k-10k in filing and process fees to represent you in court. My lawyer only charged me $500 which includes paperwork and representation fee.

Do your research ! Good luck !

You do know that if your intention is to adjust status you will have to go back and motion to terminate otherwise a decision cannot be made in your case?

Our intent was to adjust initially anyway. On my 1st Master Hearing we had the judge give us some time to file I-130 so we got about 6 months to get it filed and approved. But at the same time since I was eligible for DACA, we filed I-130 and DACA at the same time.

My 2nd Master Hearing was today and my I-130 still pending (6months) but fortunalely, my DACA got approved last November. So by getting approved with DACA I automatically got relief from deportation.

Now my removal order is Administratively Closed.

After I get my I-130 approved I do not have to go back to court to file I-485 since it's jurisdiction is now back with USCIS.

Once I-485 is approved I should not need to go back to court to show them the Green Card from what I understand.

Because your case was only administrative closed, EOIR (court) still has jurisdiction over your I-485. What we usually do is instead of admin close it, we request a termination as to allow the person to fully adjust under USCIS jurisdiction.

Your I-485 will go back to USCIS jurisdiction once your case has been completely terminated.

I lost you there at first, but yes, you are correct. My I-485's jurisdiction is still with the court until my removal order is terminated.

At least for now, my name is gone from their Calendar system while I'm in the process of Adjustment of Status.

I need to get my I-130 approved first before I can file a motion to terminate proceedings with the Court.

Once terminated, that would be the time I can file my I-485 with USCIS.
