The new USCIS website design is very confusing. Where can you see when the card is sent to production? Do you get an update on your page with a change of status? Will the status also be updated with the tracking number once the card is shipped?
The EAD was approved on the 8th, but I don't see any additional updates regarding the card production, etc. The only update is: approved, we will send you a letter...
Thanks.

It's very different now. I got approved then the same day it said card sent to production, and today it said that it was mailed. No tracking number like last time tho.

I see. The point though that there is no update stating that the card was sent to production. Approved on the 8th, then - nothing... Have anyone else had the same experience?

I did not see "your card was mailed to you" notification until the day before I received my card. I also did not get the tracking number until after I received my card.
It took about 7-8 days for me to receive my card from the day I received the approval notification.

May I know which service center processed your case?

The level one sounded, besides sleepy, like "oh gosh, another one of these" when she looked up the number. Told this girl if she doesn't get her card within 30 days to call again.

She also didn't seem to live being on speaker.

Once it has shipped, they update the system by providing a tracking number. Obviously if they didn't ship it they wouldn't have that information.
