Repubs forget that it is because of bohner that there is no immigration reform right now. Because of pressure of losing his seat as party leader, he decided not to bring it to the floor knowing that it would have passed. He turned on his word because of the pressure from the teabag party, and now they will keep playing the same card with his to control congress. It is a shame that the next two years will be controlled by those leaches.

A question for the more knowledgeable. The judge was appointed by Bush. Can Obama remove him and appoint a new one?

Our nation is plagued by republican judges.

Oh they're not forgetting anything. It's simple. Republicans don't like immigrants and don't want to pass anything willfully.

I can't hold the entire state accountable for the acts of the rural and suburban voters. I know many people who were actively involved in trying to get votes for Wendy Davis. I've also met some of the most wonderful friends and all the people I care about are here. Texas will eventually turn blue but I'm not sure if I want to be around to suffer through while it happens. Or maybe I'm stubborn and instead of going after the low hanging fruit of a liberal state, stay here and take pleasure out of seeing the Republicans run out of the state.

As far as my attorney and application goes, I've been talking to them all week getting my stuff together and we were ready to go as soon as the official application was released and we knew the exact application fees. Not sure why you guys keep harping on the "expensive lawyer" as if it somehow puts me behind the eight ball.
No, I know your life is there, and of course I know the entire state's population isn't responsible for the questionable thinking that emanates from it. I find the legal fees you are being asked to pay predatory; that's all.

Predatory? Come on, that's a bit condescending. I'm not some helpless guy fresh off the boat who does what he's told. I could have easily said no and found somewhere else but I've found you get what you pay for. I'm sure I could find a lawyer for much cheaper who is getting started or needs to drum up business, but I've seen his work and know that I still need him in 4 years.

It's not about being helpless; it can happen to anyone because one can be psychologically vulnerable after living like this for such a long time.

How long is it going take for the stonewalling to end? Some sites read a few days, some a few weeks.

These hot headed, erratic extreme brain dead republicans, are always opposing everything the president does but ask them for a better solution and they start stuttering like Ralph kramden from the Honeymooners. Every problem for them is a nail and their solution will always be a sledge hammer. There is just no limits to the levels they will go to "punish" the Imperial President as they call it, even if they have to destroy the country to do it.
