"Dismantling" DACA is very unlikely for many reasons but the two most practical: LAWSUITS and POLITICAL SUICIDE which is the only thing lawmakers care about anyway.

I wouldn't panic either. I think you will be ok if you have original DACA. I agree with the person that said plan B should be to advocate for the DREAM Act. I mean 2 years +3 years of DACA equal the 5 years conditional residency requirement the DREAM Act has. You keep your record clean and pay your taxes =you should be gold. No marriage required.

As others have noted, DACA is safe as it would be political suicide to remove it. I suspect DAPA may be overturned at the courts or legislature though. We'll just have to wait and see on that front.

Marrying someone you love isn't dumb. True love transcends things like migrant status. What is dumb is marrying without genuine unconditional love.

Original DACA has been given to us, it is unlikely that it will be taken. Otherwise, it will be a chaos!

Not really. If Republicans somehow win and stop expanded DACA for good, they will use the same tactics with regular DACA. You don't think they have a heart do you?

My message to you is to not fall into this comfortable space, have a plan b, plan c, and plan d. Save some money, learn about job opportunities in other countries because this program can and will probably be overturned if they have success with Dapa.
are you working for numbersUSA?

They haven't "overturned" anything, need to learn how to perceive current events bruh.

also, what if DACA is overturned, we go back doing what we used to do... except you stay out of california because they wont give you a drivers license.

long live DREAMERS!

During the recent funding debate the Republicans considered going after the original DACA. Their moderate members were against it on moral (and political suicide) reasons. DACA is here to stay.

DAPA on the otherhand..
