EDIT:

They even managed to make a mistake in the letter they sent me.

"Therefore, please submit a photocopy (front and back) of with form I-765"

Photocopy of what?
Lol this is so weird. I just got an RFE letter today too. Mine is a little different though. It says I "filed a benefit request which requires photographs" and is asking for photographs. From the specifications, it looks like they are asking me to send in passport photos, which I had not included when I sent my EAD renewal in (though I did send in identity docs).

Yes two passport sized photos are required. I only sent in a copy of my 765 ID. They never mentioned anything about drivers license copy??? Can others please confirm if photocopy of 765 fulfills their ID requirement? Thanks

Hey guys, just making an update. I sent in my passport photos and saw online they received it. Here's the message when I check my status:

On January 28, 2015, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization , Receipt Number ---. Our Texas Service Center office will begin working on your case again. We will mail you a decision or notify you if we need something from you. You should receive a decision or case update by March 29, 2015, unless fingerprinting or an interview are needed. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Last update! So it didn't take them until the end of March -- I got a notice that my card was being produced a couple days after my last update and then I received it at the end of last week! In total, the process took four months, though I applied around the holidays (in November) and I did have an RFE for passport photos. No biometrics.

Just wanted to add this post for anyone else in the future.

Hello everyone there! So my card got lost in the mail. The stupid mail man lost it I'm sure! I called immigration and they told me I had to fill the Work application again! However, my question is if I have to pay the fee which is very expensive, or if I have to do something else! A lawyer in a daca workshop said that if I lost it, I did not have to pay for it again, but I'm not sure how it really goes! Anyone please answer me!!!!!!

I'm still waiting for a replacement card, it's been 5 months 24 days, I was supposed to receive a response to my RFE by March 28 but I didn't get anything, so I submitted a ticket on April 4 to see what's going and still nothing.

This is just great, I think I'll break the record for the longest wait.

Unfortunately you're going to have to pay again and start all over again like I did. USCIS is a heartless organization, they don't care your card got lost in the mail and it's not your fault, they'll ask to fill out the form and pay them again.

Have you engaged your congressman or U.S. senator to assist you?

Never in my wildest dreams did I think the process of getting a replacement EAD card would take almost 6 months and counting, so I never really considered reaching out for help. Plus, I don't think a senator or a congressman would even wsnt to help me, they would probably advise to get a lawyer or somethingg. It seems like a waste of time.

Anyway, I don't know what the hell is taking them so long to send me a new card since i've already been approved before. They're not even responding to my ticket now and it's been two weeks since I submitted it.
