IRS Tax Return Transcript

Well, I have a friend that is undergoing some scrutiny from our financial aid office. The financial aid office is asking for the previous years IRS Tax Return Transcripts. His parents are using a false SSN's and they're frightened to step in an IRS building or ordering the transcript online. Are there any experiences with this issue? If so what are your suggestions? FYI he is transferring soon and they made need at the institution he hopes to attend.

The IRS doesn't verify SSNs. You can ask for transcripts from the IRS, you will need the names and "used" SSNs that your parents used.
