For everyone checking the status on the website, do the updates normally come overnight and show in the morning? My last update was that my name changed and i received the text at 3:13 am on March 4th.

So the attorney that helped me with my papers is also helping my younger brother today and told my mom that the reason the renewal is taking long is because apparently they were going to start with the DAPA process somewhere along those lines. I think is kind of unfair for a renewal to take this long though! Especially when you have a clean record like myself and I'm sure many of you guys. I feel so bummed out because this is the only thing that's been keeping me together that past couple of years

Congrats!! You're so lucky cause it seems like you sent your application late. I sent mine in Dec. and nothing! How are some applications getting approved earlier than others?

Ah not to be mean but what is your lawyer talking about? Lol some people are getting approved within 30 days and others 5 months. Some are applying late and getting approved faster than those who applied early. It's just randomized the approval process, and a part from those reviewing the application no one knows. It has nothing to do with anything as far as renewals go. Lawyer know nothing and it's a matter of pretty much waiting it out. I applied after it expired like by three months and was sent to bio within 3 weeks!

Just wanted to let you guys know that today I went to work and they input my information in the system. Since my job put me in this type of leave for this situation that was without pay I couldn't return to work until tomorrow. Just wanted to give those who are reviving theirs a heads up that returning after expiration might be problematic.

It's so frustrating waiting... I am more worried about my brother. My EAD expired already but I'm not really worried about my job considering my manager allowed me to have a leave of absence. My brother's case has been pending for 111 days. The Ombudsman emailed me today that his case has been pending for 111 days and If we still haven't gotten a decision in 9 days to email him directly. I don't know what will happen after probably another 30 days of waiting for another decision.

When we initially applied we were approved within 60 days. How is it that it's taking too long to approve a renewal it's not like anything has changed.

Why is it a problem? If your card is now valid and they approve your special leave where is the problem?
