Ugh, either people are lazy and don't want to deal with us or they're just liars. I called again and they said that USCIS cannot accept requests to expedite DACA.

Also, I screwed myself over now because I submitted my docs under 120 days and can't get an Interim EAD. I don't know what to do because they want me to start work on Monday.

Oks, yes this process is completely arbitrary. Today I was able to get in contact with another level 2 officer and he was really nice and put a request to expedite my work permit due to financial hardship, even though the past two ladies I talked to said that was not possible. -_______- I hope it goes through asap as my job won't wait for me for too long.....

I saw this too! I applied almost as early as possible 134 days before. Had I known this I would have submitted 150 days exactly. To know that in less than 2 years I have to go through this again gives me a headache....

Mine expired last Sunday, March 15th. I have been trying hard not to let it get me down and hoping my boss doesn't ask me any questions. I did my biometrics December 12th, yet on the website my case hasn't been updated since December 4th. It's frustrating, because I see lots of ppl getting through who started the process after me. I guess this is the life we will all be living for a long while.

the website doesn't update after the biometric. It updates when there is a change in the case, or a decision has been made.

There's no reason to be down, it's going to be approved sooner or later (hopefully, sooner). I am at the same position as you. Let's see what happens.

My ead will expire on 3/25/15. That's next Wednesday. I've spoken to a tier 2 officer, about my deferred action. He assured me that, they're not in the business of putting people out of work due to ead expiration. The hold up could be due x, y, and z circumstances. He also said that he can't expedite the process because it's deferred action.

That's a contradiction. Because based on posters on this forum, it is very possible. Maybe I'll try ask for a expedited process on my work authrization application.

Anyone that had their ead expire on them, but got their daca approved eventually? How long was the wait between the expiration and the approval?

A week since my EAD expired. The request to expedite hasn't changed. It still says that On March 17th it was assigned to an officer.

So your daca and ead approval came a week after your ead expiration? And you were able to expedite the process? That's awesome.

So your expedite process status from the website, hasn't changed? Even though your ead approval came already? I guess they are really back logged.
