Does anyone in this forum have ever had any experience with an Auto Loan from Chase JP Morgan?

I am looking into financing a used 2015 Subaru WRX and will be willing to put down anywhere between $10-15k as well as applying with a U.S Citizen Cosignor.

I have had bad luck with applying for auto loans, even though I have fairly decent credit (FICO 730-740). I always keep getting turned down as soon as they see Temp. Vistitor on my license. Which in most cases they always ask for.

Anyways I do know there are plenty of threads on this forum regarding this subject and I apologize for any repitions.

For anyone who has any advice, tips, and or suggestions please do leave me a private message!

Thanks

Have tried Credit Unions? If you become a customer with one of them for a few months, I'm pretty sure you will have better luck with them. I just go a sweet interest rate with a CU and zero down.

You should be good with the US Citizen cosigner bud given they have decent credit. Good luck!

Yea originally I was considering a local credit union, but now that I'll be applying with a U.S citizen I hope to just apply directly to the dealer. Also I am planning on putting down a pretty big down payment so i hope the odds are in my favor.

I had an application with Chase Auto Finance denied for my status. But I think you should be fine with a citizen.

I actually got denied from Chase as well too, most likely from too many hard inquiries lol.

I won't be applying for another couple of months, still saving up for that down payment. I really do hope that I can get a loan with a citizen, another rejection will just straight up kill my self esteem seeing as our situtation here in the future doesnt look too bright, might as well distract myself with a new set of wheels lol

I have a loan from DCU. Low interest - 1.9%. Approved for $22k.
1.49% if you're doing direct deposit.

Getting a better rate will be a challenge depending on your credit score and income. I highly recommend you check them out. I also applied for a loans through the dealership as well as banks but their rates were horrible.

If you apply for an auto loan multiple times within a 30 period, it's recognized as 1 credit inquiry accross all bureaus.

I suggest having a great mix of credit on your report, from CC to loans to lines and bills.
