I spoke to a recruiter a few weeks back. She submitted my stuff for verification with USCIS. Though idk if it'll get through due to the outstanding removal order. Even if USCIS OKs it, there's other issues like having undocumented parents, which can cause me to fail the SSBI.

I still need to contact her regarding the ASVAB test, but college has been kicking my ass recently.

I made a thread about this a few weeks back, it can be found here:

DACAs are eligible for MAVNI. The Army started recruiting DACAs for MAVNI in January 2015. But this means that DACA/MAVNI candidates have to meet the MAVNI program requirements. It is quite difficult to meet those requirements. All the Reserve slots are currently full (but more may open up later). So far, only one DACA has successfully enlisted but that person has not yet passed the SSBI. We should know in about six months if a DACA actually gets to basic training and is able to naturalize as a US citizen. No DACA has accomplished this feat yet.

USCIS is only supposed to verify that a DACA is a DACA; they aren't supposed to DQ someone for having a removal order. But you will probably fail the SSBI if you have an outstanding removal order. So don't get your hopes up. Signing an enlistment contract doesn't mean that you get to ship out to basic training. If you fail the SSBI, the Army will rescind your enlistment contract.

I have just successfully enlisted last monday. Went through all the process involved as a DACA-MAVNI applicant. FYI MAVNI is now open for other branches of the military but have its limitations. If you have any questions, let me know. I'd be glad to help

First thing you need to ask yourself is,... Which branch do you want to join, then call the recruiter or apply online. When i joined, only ARMY was accepting MAVNI applicants, now other branches are... They will respond to you as soon as they can, mine was within a few hours via email or txt. They will arrange for you to go to their office. Bring everything you have (ID, SS car, Diploma, DACA papers). They will take it from there, have you fill up forms etc. They will have you take a practice ASVAB test. Then more paperwork, You will have to go to their office a few times to do this. After all the paperwork, you will be scheduled to do your medical/physical test, OPI test...

How long does the SAVE verification takes with USCIS? I'm currently on that stage.
