Anyone knows how long it takes for the status to go from "ordered to be produced" to "in production" and then mailed?

Maybe they'll only expedite the process, if the renewal packet was sent in that 150-120 day period.
Anyone here, got expedited with less than those times? I barely missed it, the received mines with 114 days remaining.

Anyway my EAD will expire tomorrow but my drivers license will not expire till 3/17. Anyone else have that happen to them? Does that mean I wont have to renew my NY Drivers license? I mean it says on my license that Im a temp visitor till 3/25/15. But the license itself wont expire till 3/2017. Weird.

I would say you're lucky! I hate having to renew every 2 years. We have a small DMV where they just love to announce very loud that the drivers license is only good for 2 years until the permit expires. I live in a small town and don't want everyone to find out my staus.

Glad to say that I was approved early this morning.

Renewal Received: 12/3/2014
Biometrics: 1/7/2015
Approval: 3/24/2015
Received: NOT YET!

I don't know if this had anything to do with it, but I received the generic "we have submitted an inquiry" email from the ombudsman's office yesterday late in the afternoon, and was approved early this morning.

I did it all to try and get this thing done. I contacted my senator (Harry Reid, NV), contacted the congresswoman for my district (Dina Titus, NV), contacted the ombudsman's office, submitted an inquiry back in February, etc. I would recommend doing everything you can to try and get it done. The worst they can say is "no," and even when they do, keep trying!

Hope everyone else gets approved soon!

GOD IS GREAT! I expired on 3/21 & requested my case to be expedited & got the generic letter in the mail about normal processing time & that it could not be done. I even wrote to the Ombudsman's for help about an hour ago & I just checked Case Status & my EAD was APPROVED & ordered into production, my DACA was approved a few minutes after, everyone do not loose faith!!!!!!!
