The final decision is made on April 27th though right? Can it come anywhere from 17th to 27th?

Keeping fingers crossed that if the appeal is granted in April we're looking at May for them to re-start accepting applications again. *sigh* I had all my documents prepared and ready to go for February 18th, and like you, I was going with a lawyer who charged me $1000. Then I contemplated using any of the immigration advocacy organizations who's range is between $50-$200 then I opted to do it myself. I've waited so damn long that if they do start accepting applications in May I think I may go with a lawyer/organization just to give my application credence. Since my case is straight forward and isn't complicated we're looking at all the way to fall for approval. *double sigh*

We won't know for sure but it would make sense that the program would be jump started ASAP if the administration gets the green light. They know the quicker and the more people sign up the better.

I deeply envy you. I have not gather all my stuff.

I know. I know. It is my fault for being so lazy but if I am not writing long posts, who will?

I did downloaded all their information the day before so I read it and feel pretty confident about filling my application.

I always go back and forth between getting assistance and filing myself since I think the forms are pretty self explanatory. I remembered going through the old forms and when in doubt I came to the forum did a quick search and all my questions were answered plus I went to YouTube whose videos are very informative. For me I think it's a waste of money to pay a lawyer/orginazation but I can totally respect the fact for those who don't want to take the risk of messing it up and paying for assistance. I always have this nagging feeling that forms filed with assistance gets credence as oppose to those who dont but that suspicion is always debunked when i see the many posters who self filed and had great success. In hindsight a couple of hundred dollars means absolutely nothing when it's the key to your life.

Damn, I thought it was a done deal when Obama signed the EO. Now this. I hope it all goes well. I'm aging faster and faster.

If it does through then it should start the following business day right? Since the Judge blocked it few hours before it was suppose to start?

I hope this goes through in our favor.

Does this affect the original DACA is anyway shape or form?
