I did expedite request and ombudsman. I got generic we are aware of expiration dates email from USCIS and your case is being worked on from Ombudsman last Friday.

It's great to see so many approvals! When i first filed and saw the statistics of how many people filed as well, i wondered, where are they, how come I don't know anybody that is going through this as well? I'm glad I found this website and so many answers from you guys. I GOT APPROVED TODAY!!! I feel it's all God's will though. I prayed last night and asked Him not to forget about it Today I woke up to my 5 texts and updates saying that I got Approved and my card was ordered!!! I called USCIS about 5 times, expedited and was denied, went to useless InfoPass and thank God, i think it just happened. Trust in God everybody! He answers prayers!! 95 days total since I filed!

12/22/14 Received in Nebraska Center
1/23/15 Biometrics
2/25/15 Expired
3/26/15 Approved!!! Yay!

got approved today.. i just want to let anyone reading this know, that each case is different., USCIS Nebraska Service Center received my packet on 1/26/2015 and i was approved on 3/26/2015 , my card expired on 3/25/2015. My whole process took 2 months. (my sisters took 7 mo, she actually sent hers in 121 days before her card expired). DONT get hung up on other peoples stories or how long it took them. all your gonna do is stress yourself. There is no point in calling the 1800 number or even looking at the processing times from USCIS (which by the way, says that the last processed renewal was done on Oct 14 2014, which obviously isn't true). just from reading and being on this forum. its seems like USCIS just approves and renews as they please.

Well guys this was just posted on the uscis website so its good news i guess!
For those of us that have filed 3-4 month ago and are waiting on aprovals from a service center that is hammered in work.

Workload Transfer within Service Center Operations
Effective March 27, 2015, USCIS will transfer the adjudication of some cases to balance our overall workload. The affected cases include those filed with the following forms I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e), I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker, I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status (employment and asylum-based only), I-821D/I-765, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals/ Application for Employment Authorization (initial and renewal requests). The filing location and instructions for these forms will not change.

I'm seeing everyone's timelines shortening, and I still have 20 days before my EAD expires. Still, I am starting to get nervous. I'm keeping my employer informed, and they are willing to let me take leave of absence, but I can't afford to lose my income, and I don't want to acquire any unlawful presence....

Fingers crossed for myself and everyone else in my shoes...
