Hello guys,

I am new to this forum. My OPT was approved on Feb 20th 2015 and the EAD card was mailed out on Feb 25th, 2015 which is yet to arrive (NO USPS TRACKING INFO AVAILABLE). When I called USCIS, a few immigration officers told me that the card has not yet shipped and a few told it has definitely shipped. I created two service requests, one for usps tracking info and another one to expedite my case since it crossed 90 days. They expedited my case and sent a response on 24th March which again I am yet to receive. Today when I spoke to an immigration officer, she said that the response to my service request is that I have to file my I-765 application again. I am worried now since I my job offer would be revoked as they have already been waiting for a month. I don't know how long they will take to process my application again. However, the officer with whom I spoke today mentioned that I write the term 'Expedite' on my I-765 application and also get a letter from my employer stating that the job offer will be revoked if the candidate does not have his EAD card by so and so date. Has anyone else been in this situation? If so how long will it take for them to process my application for a Replacement Card? Any help/advice is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Let me understand this correctly. You were approved, you haven't received a tracking number for a month. You've been calling USCIS regarding the status of the shipment, and they told you to file another application for your EAD again? Why would they do that if it's still processing? What does the status of the USCIS tracking say?

Hello,

Here is the timeline.
Dec 23rd - First update, my application was received.
Feb 20th - Approved and card sent for production
Feb 25th - Online status changed as my card was mailed to me.
Till date no USPS tracking info.

I made two service requests first one for USPS tracking info and the second one for expediting my case since it was 87 days and also I mentioned that I had a job offer which will be revoked if I don't have my card within a week. On March 24th, they sent a response through mail which I am yet to receive. So I called them up and asked for the response that they sent. They mentioned that "we sent out the card on 25th Feb and we have no record of your card being returned back to USCIS. Hence we have concluded that your card has been lost in transit and have to file a new I-765 application". They updated my service request for the USPS tracking info. When I again called them up to ask for the response they said I have to file a new I-765 application. Spoke to USPS but no use since I don't have a tracking number.

Something like that happend to me also approved Feb 10 "card was sent Feb 18" but as off today still no card. I waited the 30 days they say to wait to received your EAD card on March 20 I went ahead and processed and e-request for them to sent me a another card. And actually today I got an email response saying

The status of this service request is:

Our records show that your case is currently pending adjudication. However, we have had to perform additional reviews on your case, and this has caused a longer processing time.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

So not sure what that means I guess I need to keep on been patient.

I might be totally wrong but I have a feeling that my card never got sent out since it was the day/week when the whole polemic off DAPA and extension on DACA was happening. That's just my guess!
