I just sent my AP package, I requesting AP through my work, I am dental assistant and my employer is sponsoring a humanitarian trip to Guatemala for me for 11 days. Several dentist and dental assistants offer their time and service to misfortune kids in Guatemala, whose parents cannot afford dental treatments, there's a Foundation in the State where I reside that arranged this type of trips to Central America. What are my chances to being approved? Does anybody know? Both of my kids are US citizens and my husband is a US Permanent resident.

what do they mean when in the application they ask for "class of admission"? i entered young with a visitor visa and overstayed my visa, anyone can help me out?

also is the alien registration number the USCIS # on the EAD?

finally, do we have to put anything where it says, " In care of name" in the address 1st part?

cheers everyone

I got back to the US with advance parole.

I applied for Advance parole and the process from the day they receive to the approval time took 20 days. I applied because my grandparents were sick, I provided them with letters from the doctors. Leaving was no problem. I spent two weeks with my grandparents.

When I returned, I had to show my AP document 4 times. The first time was when I checked in at the airlines counter, the lady wasn't sure what it was, she walked to her co-worker (i think it was her manager) and came back and she said it was good to go.

Then I had to show it to my country's immigration officer (she read the document almost entirely) and let me go. I was also asked for it right before boarding the plane, the lady there asked me what it was and I briefly explained it to her then she asked me how I got the document and i told her because of my ill grandparents and she let me board the plane. In the US, i went to the visitor's line and showed my passport and AP document, the officer entered all the information, the only question he asked me was if i worked here in the US, I of course said "YES". He then took me to secondary after a few minutes where there was about 8 people waiting, I sat down, waited about 10 mins and they called my name and handed my stamped passport paroled for a year for DAS and didn't really ask anything. Then i was free to go

1. class of Admission: how you entered... then you should put B2 Visitor (check your VISA class)
2. Alien# = uscis#

well, they weren't dying but they were constantly going to the doctor because of their illness. One of them had some kind of serious diabetic condition.
