Hey all,

After receiving DACA where (or what industry) have you been able to gain employment at? (Doesn't have to be super specific)
Just wondering how our lives have changed since receiving DACA a couple of years ago

Cheers!

I voted Retail. Hopefully I can go onto either Law or Medicine after some more school.

Prior to Daca - for four years since I was 18, I worked for a video game company, loved it but was very taxing and stressful. Specially the last two years.

I now work in logistics, 3pl. Much smooth, although I'm not a lead here, I make muuch more. So far so good.

I'm self employed with 2 business. One is web design and one is lighting for film/video. This year I'm celebrating a decade in the film industry! Even as an illegal I worked as a freelancer and am super happy DACA came along since it boosted my careers up a bit.

I currently work in healthcare electronic medical record keeping. My job is a stepping stone towards medical school. But, it has allowed me to help my family, start paying some bills and apply to Emory now that they have financial aid for DACA beneficiaries.
