Depending on who your Congressman is I would reach out to them. That's what their offices do and the worst they can do is inquire about it and get the same answer you've gotten. We considered reaching out to our Congressman for our I601A but since our congressman has taken really right wing stands on immigration my husband decided that it would not be in our interest. But it says you're from NY so odds are you're not stuck with someone like that.

Just a quick update:

I called USCIS again today to check on the status of my EAD replacement case (pending since October), I gave them my case inquiry ticket# submitted on April 6 to which they haven't responded yet. The woman on the phone said "Huh? that's really weird" and couldn't answer why it's taking so long. She just kept saying it's really weird.

She advised me to schedule an info pass appointment with my local immigration office. I tried to do that just now and it says "At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area."

Now what?

I'm slowly starting to believe my case will never be approved.

Im confused on your case, this is mine on Feb 18th. my card "was" mailed (never got a tracking number or anything) been that this a renewal once a week passed I knew something was wrong since it normal doesn't take that long to receive it in the mail. Needless to say time kept on passing and nothing, so waited the 30 days then submitted and e-request on my case and the response was "Our records show that your case is currently pending adjudication. However, we have had to perform additional reviews on your case, and this has caused longer processing time. We hope that this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience" that response was on April 1,2015 ever since have heard nothing.

Have never spoken to immigration on phone but now that I see several cases like mine where you all reapply, its making me question if I should just wait or also call and see what they have to say.

It's a piece of plastic. USCIS needs to be able to send a new EAD card in the case that it gets lost. Almost $400 for them to start the process all over again only to send you one that will still expire the same day as your DACA is not worth it.

Happy to see they didn't stall you for 3+ months. Hopefully you'll get it very soon. Best of luck
