I can't tell if you're being serious or trolling us. Ted Cruz?? Really?? the guy who didn't vote for the Senate immigration bill (which passed the senate) anyway? Mr. Tea Party? The same guy who is urging the courts to overturn the executive orders?

Which planet do you live in?

Well if properly lobbied, I definitely think its a possibility. I am just saying based on how terrible Obama has been with immigration. If a liberal like him was not able to pass CIR, its def possible that a Republican will actually pass something. Bottom line is CIR led by the Democratic party will only pass with a Democratic Party supermajority. Hillary will have no say without a supermajority. There is no way Democrats will get both house and filibuster proof Senate. However, I think Republicans stick together much better than Democrats and I feel like a Republican president may be supported in passing some type of CIR. Definitely not as liberal as the current version but i definitely think a sensible one can be passed. Rand Paul is my best bet. He relates to younger people like us.

You're saying that as if Obama completely solved the immigration problem. Please don't start about DACA and DAPA. That shit is in the air. It was done only for him to win his second reelection. He has deported countless number of innocent immigrants.

So aside from Reagen, which president has "help" illegal immigrants?

So I never post here but this is too stupid to pass up on.

"In 2012, President Obama lawlessly granted amnesty to some 800,000 people here illegally who entered as children. And the direct consequences of that lawlessness, of that amnesty, is that we've seen the number of children taking the incredible risks that are entailed with coming across the border grow exponentially"

"Republicans in Congress should use every tool at our disposal—our constitutional checks and balances—to stop President Obama's amnesty...both Houses should use the power of the purse, which the Framers understood to be the most potent tool Congress has to rein in an out-of-control Executive."

"I think that is profoundly unfair to the millions of legal immigrants who have followed the rules, who have waited in line,"

“President Obama has decided this election will be a referendum on amnesty,” Cruz asserted. “We cannot solve this crisis at the border until we end President Obama’s amnesty.”

"If you support amnesty, you should vote for the democrats"

All quotes from your boy Cruz. Dont believe me? Head on over to your supporter's website, numbersusa.com

Why dont you get married, get your green card, and bash all undocumented immigrants for being here illegally already?

Completely understand what you're saying. I am no Cruz fan myself. But try to see my point. We should not necessarily pin our hopes on the great Hillary Clinton. No supermajority = no immigration reform. Democrats do not compromise with Republicans. Democrats want an absolutely 100% their type of bill. This will never fly in this Congress which is split slightly in Rrpublican favor. The next time CIR passes, it will have to be a Republican that does it. Till then we can expect more DACA like administrative stuff from Democrat presidents. If I was eligible to vote, I would vote for Rand Paul in a heartbeat.
