Of course I know it was about 2012 - you wrote about the administrative procedure act, and the article is about notice and comment on the federal register for DACA in 2012.

DACA is an existing program. There are NOT three deferred action programs: There's new guidelines to replace 2012 DACA ("Expanded DACA"), and there's DAPA. Two deferred action programs. All press articles focus on DAPA, the 5th ct response focuses on DAPA, the whole issue is with DAPA, not the removing of the age cap and forwarding of the date of presence required for DACA.

So chances are DACA Expansion could start and NOT Dapa?

Im having a very hard time trying to understand the point you are trying to make. You keep saying this is about DAPA as if the DACA age extension is a separate issue that the admin can simply just do whatever, This is not the case. Any new changes to Original DACA wether its age extension or extended 3 year extenson is Forbidden with the texas Judge's Injunction that is now in place.

No, The fate of both is in the courts. Dtr09 keeps saying that there is no issue with the daca age cap extension and DAPA is the only thing in question. There were two different extended DACA policy changes that was suppose to take effect.

One in February for the extended age cap for older dreamers which was HALTED. DAPA was suppose to start in May and it is also HALTED. The fate of both is the same as far as the Injunction is concerned. Now the only thing that I'm hoping is that in the July hearings there might be an argument to allow The Age cap for dreamers to be implemented ASAP, while they just deal with DAPA as a separate issue.

Last post in this matter:

When and if the new DACA 2014 guidelines are allowed to be implemented, they will completely replace DACA 2012. Same program, age cap and date of presence updated.

DAPA is a whole different ball game.

Legally and factually, there are only two deferred action plans, not three as many in the press and most in the public understand it to be.
