I applied for advance parole March 24th, for work purposes, received approval letter April 20th. I didn't even write urgent on the application. Took less than a month. I checked progress online and in about 3 weeks, I was approved.

I asked for two weeks, was granted 1 month.

Took a flight from Mexico City to Houston, at Airport agent asked me for a Visa or Green Card, I showed him my approval letter. He called immigration to verify letter, took about 15 minutes and gave me my boarding pass with the letter back. When boarding the plane another agent asked me for a Visa or Green Card, and showed him my boarding pass with approval letter, and he said ok.

I arrived to Houston, went to the Green Card/Visa immigration line, showed officer my approval letter and he quickly said "DACA" ah ok. Then, he sent me to a room. Another offer saw the letter, and after 15 minutes said ok, good to go with no questions asked at all.

Then I boarded a second plane to my final destination, now I'm home . No easy and painless. Will be traveling to Mexico for various business trips.

May I ask what's your nationality? If not Mexican, did you have to request a Mexican visa? Also, what kind of info did you provide to USCIS? Letter from your employer? And last, did your employer cover the fee for your AP or did it come out of your pocket?

I'm sorry about your loss So sad we have to go through that.
But I am so happy I will finally have the chance to! I honestly have always feared I would lose them before being able to return. I lost my paternal grandparents while I was here and it was sad but I wasnt nearly as close to them as I am to my mom's side.

what kind of document should i include to prove that me and my grandmother are related?

Has anyone had any success with calling to request to expedite their AP case? My case is for work related purposes, but my boss only gave me 5 weeks notice so I am cutting it close (40days before i travel). I got the receipt notice today, but when i called USCIS they told me they cannot expedite DACA AP cases???

Hi, didn't want to start a new thread, but I have a general question regarding AP. If we return to the US via parole, does that give us legal visiting status (or whatever legal status that is not a PR or USC)? Does this also shield us from deportation since we would be considered here legally?

I had applied for an expedited one and they denied the expedite as well. I ended up emailing my congressman and he got it approved in a week.
