So I filed for renewal and after two months I only received a letter stating the employment authorization received my case. So I decide to call US IS and they ask for my DACA case number and I state I didn't get one just employment authorization case. So I decide to call my lawyer and she states she received a copy for my biometrics app and DACA. Worse news , my biometrics appt date passed over a month ago. She says just to go to biometrics office on Monday and explain what happened with a printed copy of her letter and they should be able to take care of it. Does anyone have similar experience as this. I am freaking out right now because the letter said if u miss u r appt without rescheduling they will assume I ABANDONED my case.
You can reschedule. But it may be better to just go ahead and do a walk in since it'll be faster. You shouldn't worry about having your case abandoned, they usually send another rescheduled appointment and if you don't make it to that one then they send a NOID (notice of intent to deny).
Sounds like your lawyer is a piece of sh*t. I'd demand my money back if I were you.
