Hey guys,

So I am in the process of applying for advance parole. I'm going to expedite my case since i want to leave the first week of October.

I was wondering if anyone has been granted advance parole for a whole year thru the humanitarian reasons. A lawyer told me this was possible. It's tempting to ask for that in my written letter. What do you guy's think?

Thanks,

Alejandro

I have never heard of someone getting it for that long but you can always try. Best of luck!

Thanks!

You don't think it'll slow down the process if i ask for that and they don't grant it to me, do you?

So are you going to be out of the country for a year or going back and forth?

some people on this forum has gotten multiple entries valid for a year. as long as you can provide a valid reason why they should give that to you, I don't see why not.
