nice! let us know how everything goes! I am actually debating on visiting Poland my home country for a humanitarian reason because my grandma is very sick but I would still be pretty nervous to do so! so let me know when you wanted to leave and for how long you would stay in Canada for! and by plane or Car? Thank you!

Hey, I just sent my application last week too for educational purpose also. It is to attend a conference (in an Asian country) that is related to my graduate studies.

Best of luck!

Hey guys,

I got my passport back today. What I thought would be a stamp turned out to be a full page dedicated to the Canadian Visa that was issued to me. They gave me a multiple entry Visa that is good for just under a year, until June - A day before my passport expires, which makes sense. It looks super official, lol.

I'm still waiting on the AP document... Really hoping they get back to me soon, as the flights and hotels have been booked.

Ok, so I just wrote this whole giant response and it didn't post!! So here I'm again

Anywho, I just came back from Canada with AP.
I used it for educational purposes and received approval fairly quickly with in 5weeks. Before traveling to Canada I had to apply for eTA (my country of citizenship does not require visa, part of European union). Upon entering to Canada, the officer asked me the reason for my travels and what status I hold in US (daca), I answered the questions and was welcomed in.
When returning, before I was able to check in for my flight, I was asked to apply for ESTA, similar as eTA for Canada, but ESTA is for the states, took a few minutes. Please check online. After checking in for the flight, my husband (usc) who traveled with me filled out a declaration. Next, before even security line, we walked into US customs corridors, the US customs are at the Canadian airport. The cbp officer looked over my husbands passport and mine, I also gave him two APs and my ead card. He looked it over, asked for my fingerprints and escorted me into secondary screening room. There another officer asked me to fill out white paper (which later was stapled into my passport). The officer did not ask me a single question, she just kept on typing things and staring at the computer (sweat was pouring out of me, slowly very slowly). She then took a stamp and proceeded to stamp both my APs and white paper with paroled stamp. Then she asked if I'm going to adjust my status, out of nervousness and sweatiness i said "not at the moment", she said "not at the moment?", so i said, "I don't know", meanwhile kicking my self in my imaginary balls!
The stamp says:
Paroled
Until
Purpose
Mine ended up saying
Paroled
Until - september 2016
Purpose - aos
She gathered my documents, returned them to me and said I'm free to go. From there we went through security, boarded our flight and la des home, the flight is treated as domestic once you pass customs in Canada.

Hoping this help, if you have more questions, please do ask. Good luck!

I've got a few questions.

What was your AP timeline?
And also, what is the correct response when they ask you if you're going to adjust status?

My AP was approved for one month, although I asked for 6 days (to accommodate traveling). Regarding what's the right answer, I'm not sure, my lawyer told me to tell the officer that I will adjust eventually, however, not at the moment due to my studies. You can check with your lawyer, but I'm pretty sure the cbp officers are aware of the daca/ap/aos situation.

P.S. The "white paper" that is stapled in my passport is I-94 (proof of legal entry into U.S. And mine is valid for entire year, assuming it will take a year to adjust).
