So my grandmother is very sick and is getting worse each day. I made up my mind after yo-yoing the thought for so long. I'd also like fix my EWI. Time to put my DACA to good use. So I have a few questions. Just because I'm a bit paranoid/curious.

1. When coming back to the states, are my AP papers stamped/reviewed by my home country's airport? Or are they stamped back in the states? All I'll have to show is my passport and my AP papers and I'm free to board the plane, right? (Sorry if this sounds a bit stupid, I've never been in an airport before)

2. Coming back to the states, I've read stories about there being two lines when arriving. Residents and visitors. Which line would I get in?

3. Can I be denied entry for no reason? I've read in a few places that an immigration officer does not have to let you back in if he so desires for no reason.

4. I've also read that they ask you if you're going to adjusting status, so I don't know what I'd say as a 17 year old. What would I say? lol

I'll be speaking to an attorney soon but I'd still like to get an idea beforehand.

1. They will see your AP at the airport in the country you're departing from, but they will not stamp your AP. Only the CBP will do so when you arrive.

2. I'd recommend asking once you get off the plane. Depends per airport.

3. Whereas discretion comes into play, this rarely if ever happens. I have not heard of a single case of anyone being denied re-entry on AP.

4. "No".

This is the only case I've heard of someone being denied but I'm willing to bet there were some complications of some sort.

I am also considering advance parole. I've been in this country since the age of 9, I'm 22 now. Missing my family and dying to see them for at least a week!

Your papers are only reviewed to show that you have proper documents to board that plane. I read cases where some airports in other countries don't even know what AP is but they still let you board, they just double check what it is. Your entry is determined when you land here in US.

I read someone going and using AP in here a while back and they were going to the residents line .

3. Can I be denied entry for no reason? I've read in a few places that an immigration officer does not have to let you back in if he so desires for no reason.

I don't think you can be denied entry for "no reason" the officer should have to find something that would make you inadmissible, but with AP that's highly the case, you left the country legally, and you are entering legally as well.

4. I've also read that they ask you if you're going to adjusting status, so I don't know what I'd say as a 17 year old. What would I say? lol

haha, I don't know what I Would say to that question as well, you have to be honest with them so just say no
