Did biometrics on April 21st
August 11 I recived my interview notice for sept 16
Sept 16 had interview and I was approved
Sept 22 got a notification my card was mailed to me
Sept 24 2015 recived green card on the mail .

My local office was Chula Vista Ca... Before it used to take 3 months but I think their backed up and it took me 5.5 months but it's all worth it ! One thing I can tell you is that don't pay attention to the processing times on the Uscis website because their not accurate! If you want to check processing times for your local office go to this link and choose your local office it's going to show you cases from your local office that were recently approved and their timelines

Congrats!
Sent out my forms/documents today and on pins and needles!
How was the interview? I'd love to hear about that more, thanks!

Our interview was pretty smoth once your at the waiting room the officer calls your name . Walks you to his office and she just began by asking for IDs and tells you that she's going to go over the application with us ....she began to ask my wife basic info that is on the applications like our address, date of birth , if she had a job , her phone number , how did we meet , when did I proposed , if we had children ....the she moved up to me asking me almost the same questions and then she ask me when was the last time I came into the us and how then asked for any additional evidence we had are bank statements insurance policies and my son birth certificate we also had phone bills and a photo album she took some pictures and kept them then she said she was going to recomed us for approval that everything look good she made us sing the removing conditions paper and we walked out by 1:45 pm around 330pm we recived txt that are card was order for production

I didn't hire anyone to do my paperwork and I also went about it the long way. I just got back this past Friday from Ciudad Juarez and I should be getting my green card in the mail soon. Good Luck

Hi @lisssssx. I live in New York, near Inwood and I am adjusting status through my spouse after daca/advance parole. I saw that you said there is an immigration coalition in washington heights that is affordable and I wanted to ask you if you may give me their information so I can reach out to them. I want to make sure I have all the proper documents before I send it out. Thanks so much!
