Sorry, I have a very old computer and this is the only thing it allows me to do at the moment. Someone posted a similar article but from another source. So here is another take on the same deal.

I was offered a really good job as a teacher assistant for a high school. I did apply and they made an offering. So, had to explain to everyone that I couldn't take the job because I was undocumented. I cried so hard. I was going to make the same amount than in my previous job but instead of working 55 plus hours, I was going to work 35.5 hours. It did helped though. For many years, I made the wrong decisions over and over because I wanted so bad to blame me and not a fuck up system. I can fix myself but I cannot fix a fuck up system of fuck up people.

I also posted on fb that it was wrong to call Republican politicians and the base crazy because it removes their responsibility. They are not crazy, they are selfish, willfully ignorant and bad people. People with dementia that kill others, go to mental institutions, people who kill black people for being black go to jail or the gas chamber. We shouldn't condone people's moral shortcomings.

So, yea bad news but on the bright side, then I can plan leaving to Mexico without feeling anxiety. I can leave mid year and catch the rumored visit of the Pope to my home state. Yea, I love this country but fuck this. I am not going to keep wasting the best years of my life in menial jobs for these assholes. Sorry in advance for the personal stuff. I have not said anything to anyone, not even the people that gave me a letter of recommendation.

If you really decided to leave, think about last simple option - turning yourself in to ICE and immediately asking for a deferred action.Without criminal record you are not a priority.
That's what some people did including journalist Jose Vargas.

I think about this on a daily basis. I too feel like i may be wasting time by holding onto something that may never come, but would my life really be any better back home?

Whatever you decide to do, best of luck to you. We're all going to need it.

Article says 5th needs to make a decision by November so there would be enough time for Supreme Court before 2016 elections to make one as well in June 2016.

I feel your pain man, but you owe it to yourself to play your cards right. If you're going to go back at least try whatever options are available to you.

I would at least wait and see what happens first! You have been here for years a few more months isn't going to kill you. I understand how you feel but imagine if you went back and the executive action is implemented and you missed out.

I lawyer told me about the possibility back when my bro got his DACA. She said the chances were slim though but probably things have change. One of my cousins applied for asylum, several of her in-laws have been killed, long story short, too much drama. She is here with a bracelet and was given a 6 month work permit. Some people who have been in deportation procedures seem to be getting delays and work permits for one year or so, depending on the case and lawyer but it seems that is easier for a woman. Since I am afraid of nothing at this point, I am going to do it! Damn it. I am going to talk to a lawyer and prepare my case and will see how it goes.

Thanks to everyone for their concerns. It does mean a lot to me. It is not a matter or better off but actual wealth. All the cousins who were rational enough not to date cops or narcos are getting good office jobs with benefits even if they don't have college diplomas. A good chunk of them applied and received low income housing from the government. They live at home and rent the houses and is extra income. I can afford luxuries they can't but they are using the resources available to accumulate wealth. The way I see it, we are going to wait until we get old. Is a lot of things combined. I cannot keep working in manual jobs that only keep me well enough to keep working. Take Care.
