hi guys,

i've actually applied for AP 4 separate times. for mail applications, they usually approved it in less than 2 months. i once had to make an appointment for the office to get AP for emergency travel (work)- they gave it to me the same day.

A side question- has anyone received AP for multiple travel?

I have all of my documents ready to apply for advance parole. I am sending it out tomorrow, but I am worried. I am applying because my 80 yr old grandmother has diabetes and I haven't seen her in 10+ years.

However, the doctors gave her a hard time when she asked for a letter for me to submit it. All I have are medical exams, no doctor letter.
I am running out of time so I can't wait any longer.

My evidence consists of: My birth certificate, my father's and my grandmother's, all translated and notarized. My letter explaining why I need to travel to see her. My mother's (who is a US Citizen) notarized affidavit confirming that she visited my grandmother in 2012 and 2013 and she is in poor health condition. And my grandmother's two last diabetes exams (in May and Sept 2015).

The exams are not translated as I was told this was very hard to do and that there is no need since the medical words are very similar...... What did you guys do when submitting medical records?

I thought about translating it on my own but it is long and I really do not understand what the exam is saying, what each gram and milligrams mean, etc..... it is a really detailed exam, without a diagnosis.

Suggestions, please?
I'd like to send it in tomorrow morning.

All documents not in English need to be translated into English as per immigration guidelines. Good luck!
