I was offered a position as a paid tutor for my university and I have DACA so I could technically work. However, is that a smart thing to do considering if I have to file taxes, it would have to be under my parents' names who are not authorized to work. Are any of you dependents that are working and have filed taxes already? How does that work?

Thanks in advance!

Yes. I've filed taxes as a dependent. It's basically the same, only difference is that you put the checkmark under "anyone claiming you".

If you have any additional questions you can PM me
