Hello everyone, I have had very little luck with getting any credit cards. I currently have a Wells Fargo and Chase account. I have tried to file for a credit card on both but I was denied for not having any credit history. I read on these forums that I should start with a Secured Credit Card and I applied at Wells Fargo but was denied because they could not verify my SSN. I have gone on creditkarma and while I was able to successfully create an account, I have no history. At one point I was very close to buying a car from Honda and I believe I got approved for a loan but decided not to buy the car due to personal financing. The only thing I have done so far as far as linking my SSN is getting a small loan from Affirm.com to buy something online. I have had DACA for 2 years now; just recently got approved for renewal, but I am very sure that if I go apply for something somewhere, such as a new phone line I will get denied for no history. Its really frustrating because its already been 2 years and companies are still not able to verify my SSN (most deny because no history), what are my options, what can or should I do?

Contact the credit bureaus, usually they require you to mail copys of your EAD and Social and some form of mailing that verifies your address.

I had the same problem when I applied to banks, I would try a credit unions in your location. They are "non-profit" organizations so you are most likely to get approved. I got a proved by a credit union but I still can't get approved by a bank. Not sure why.
