Hi I am set for renewal in December but I am having problems knowing if I qualify. I haven't left the states and no felonies but I have a few traffic violations. I Read minor traffic violations will be ignored, and they where when I first applied to Daca, but I was involved in a small traffic collision in February. My car lost control driving on ice and I was in jail for the night. Cops told me it was a simple misdemeanor and shouldn't be a dent but problem I'm facing is I received 3 tickets for the incident. No DL, driving too fast for conditions (was going 20mph but hey) and no insurance. All tickets say jailed on them. I'm worried about no insurance and the number of tickets I received, will each count as a misdemeanor? Does going to jail for no insurance count as a significant misdemeanor?
I do or don't have to send the tickets I received to Daca? I gave my full name and showed both state Id and work permit, I'm not trying to hide anything just read in another thread Daca will ignore and don't care to receive them unless used as evidence of presence.
Sorry be asking so much just really worried and I do not have money for a lawyer. I have been googling and trying to figure out as much as I can by myself. Thank you for the help!

Even if you got five significant misdemeanors, it would only count as one because it was one event where you got all five. But they're traffic related and unless it was a DWI or homicide then they won't consider them.

You should be fine. Be sure to get insurance, even if it's the minimal insurance. And drive safely. If you can, get a drivers license from out-of-state so you don't drive unlicensed

You are lucky, if you have DACA already why risk to drive with out a license. My cousin got pulled on the highway for speeding, reckless driving almost hit a car, no license, changing lanes with out a signal and for not having an I'd, the cop sent him to court did not got arrested, and when he went to court the judge told him the next time he gets caught driving, he will be arrested and reported to ICE and got a 5 000 dollars in fines

It probably won't matter but it was very stupid of you to drive without a license and insurance when you have DACA. Not only that, I know for a fact that some states will add a surcharge to your driver's license for a few years if you drive without insurance.

Many undocumented have gone through hell and back to get a driver's license and still can't but there you have a golden ticket and you're wasting it and giving all the other DACA recipients a bad name. It was a "minor" accident but what if you would have hit a car and hurt someone? Worse yet, a kid? You could single handedly ruin DACA for everybody.

What about if he is in a state that does not grant DLs to DACA recipients?

All states issue Driver's license to DACA recipients.

"All fifty states and the District of Columbia now issue driver’s licenses to otherwise-eligible immigrant youth granted DACA."

https://www.nilc.org/dacadriverslicenses2.html

Either way op has daca and still doesn't have his license.. His fault

That's not the case. Some people just don't care and go through life by shear luck. I know a green card holder who is the same way.

I was denied a driver's license in town I lived before the accident. Literally got accused of having fake papers and threatened to be put in jail when I went to get my state id and same for my sister and she's born in the USA. She sat through 2 hours of interrogation to where she got her birth certificate and social. I moved just months after getting Daca to a smaller town hours away and was for work where I literally just worked, ate, slept then back to work. Job ended I didn't want to relocate to Nebraska (I live in Oklahoma) so I moved in with my Gf in Oklahoma city. I haven't been able to since my car won't pass the Dmv standards, just because I have Daca doesn't mean I can afford a newer car. The accident was a car crash where another car lost control on to my lane and I hit passenger side. I did have insurance on the car problem was cop wouldn't let me in my car to get it, wouldn't let my Gf look for it when she got there and car was impounded before he even got any details of the accident. You are forgetting I was undocumented as well and just to get a matricula I had to wait weeks before someone would drive me 7 hours to Kansas City.
