Now that we're out of the Kangaroo courts of the South, our battle begins.
Thank god the ball is rolling on the final phase. We need to get off this rollercoaster regardless of the outcome, I'm optimistic as The supreme court has held up some very unprecedented stuff from the administration lately, (Gay Rights/Affordable Care Act) which either means they have been very lucky or they know what the hell they are doing. With that said, this is so nerve wracking, Daca is crumbs but the its best we got at this point

(((Fingers crossed)))

Now now, there is no need for any of that. So much good can happen in the next 5 years.

It just feels like every other year. I can remember being hopeful every year do to some bill being introduced or Obama saying that he was going to do something. I'm still hopeful, as hope is all one has at times, but part of me thinks they are going to drag this out past 2017. By that time Hilary will be president, and like Obama, she's going to make some excuses about giving congress the opportunity to act. More time will pass and the cycle will continue. lol.

I think for the Dreamers, their best bet is to use DACA to gain some pseudo legal presence, and then with that semblance of a normal life do everything they can to get a green card whether it's getting married, getting work sponsorship, finding other family members who are citizens who can help, etc. It will be a while for congress to act UNLESS there is a massive landslide for the Democrats in congress as well as the whitehouse and it's clear that the landslide is because 90% of the Latino, Asians, etc. voted.

Not unless you're covered under 245(i).

Anyways, I don't like where this all is going.

You mean where the case is going?

Are you talking about grandfathered 245i?
