AR or AD?

AR, from what I was told the availability for this has been increased from the previous/very limited slots.

Korean, on the goarmy forums it's apparently just a phone call of 30 to 60 min length, conversation based.

Oh the appointment itself, should be fine, the recruiter's already done a MAVNI candidate before and it was a week or two at most. All's I know is the OPI comes at the end of the enlistment process so I should have few weeks to brush up.

Passed my Korean OPI early this week, just sworn in this afternoon.
Didn't really get what I wanted for MOS but going into the Reserves so not so bad lol
Hopefully my SSBI would go smoothly and I'll be able to ship 9/2016.
OPI is pretty easy, wish you the best K-man.

Congrats on the enlistment! Honestly the OPI is probably a bigger hurdle than the SSBI, I assume unless you've had issues with the law or etc. Was it just a casual phone conversation for the most part as I was told? Any tips would be appreciated

Not even worried about MOS as I could get assigned as a cook for all I care lol, the expedited citizenship really triumphs everything, especially with the korean military bail being an issue also, which I'm sure you know all about.

Awesome, I signed and swore in the same day as you too. Also, same sentiments about MOS options and stuff.
