I came to US when i was 13 with my family under tourist visa. My parents wanted obtain an E-2 visa so we can stay here legally. I was on E-2 visa under my parents til 21 years old. When i turned 22, I wasnt able to stay on E-2 visa through my parents due to my age. i've been an illegal immagrant ever since then. Now im 28 years old and i just got approved for a renewal for the daca. I've got lucky and got a good job right away when i got approved for daca. I dont want to try to find a mininum wage job under the table after daca expires. Ive been legally been living in america til 21. i've read on the forum that if you get approved for advanced paroles for traveling out of country and come back in US, you can apply for legal permanent resident. Does that apply for here for e-2? If not, can i apply for ap even though i already got my renewal? Please help!

You should've changed your status to an F-1 student as you were aging out. Too late now however...

AP only allows one to clear an illegal entry, also known as "Entry Without Inspection" or EWI, which the main bar to adjustment of status as an immediate relative of a US citizen (child under 21, spouse, or parent of a US citizen over 21).

Can you adjust status?
Only as an immediate relative of a US citizen, and not via any other way.

Will AP change anything in your case?
No.

Can you still get AP and travel on it?
Yes.

Yeah, someone else told me that i should've gone with the f-1 route as well...

I guess i just have to wait on what is going to happen when the dream act expires. My sister is married to a citizen and waiting for her green card. And i guess after she gets her green card, shes going to apply for the citizenship. That will take a long time for her to sponsor me.
Thanks for your advice.
