Honestly idk but I don't think so cus if that were the case I would have been able to do the same but since she needs to be the one to have an income above the poverty line to sponsor me and she didn't, I needed a sponsor u know what I mean.

Omg congrats super happy for you I applied for my Aos in late October and did biometrics in November my interview is schedule for early February can you tell me what all happened there ?

Biometrics walk in- 1/9/15
Renewal approved- march 20th 2015

My appointment was back in August 2015 appointment at 800 I got there about an hour early waited for my lawyer to get there. After like 25 minutes I got called in, me my wife and lawyer went in got swarmed in before seated, I was asked my name my dob then they asked my wife for her info, asked for how long we've been married, then the officer asked me when was the last time I entered the us legally I replied
And basically skimmed through my file saw that we had recently purchased a house a few months before under both our names and then said ok, he didn't tell me whether I was approved or not he just simply said that when he approved me it would take 3 weeks to receive my green card and that was it. After that I waited 5 months to get approved long wait but well worth it.
