Well, for more than five years I told my friends that I crashed my dad's car. He was so scared for my life and so piss off for my lack of precaution that he refused to let me drive or have a car. Later, I told people that I commuted with my uncle to save gas and money and that my parents did not let me drive because I was so tired -average 18 units- that I will probably have an accident and die. Finally, I live with my parents because mexican families cannot let go of the children as easily. Even after you are married away, they expect you to visit for 2-4 hours everyday.

i was in the worst situation because i used to live with my aunt and uncle who are citizens and i was in the same grade as their son. He had a dl and had a job and everything i had nothing. So basically i was screwed.

Just say your one of those people who would never consider driveing, that just the thought of it makes you sick. that you'd probably just crash the car, they'll bug about wanting to "teach" you but just be stuborn.
