Hope this helps!

I just want to share my experience with AP. I traveled to Peru for humanitarian reasons, I visited my grandmother who had hip surgery. It was pretty simple when going to Peru, I just showed my Peruvian passport and I was good to go. On my way back, in Lima at the airport, I showed my passport and AP paperwork, the agent gave my tickets. I traveled to Atlanta and did customs there. In Atlanta there is a sign that said " parole documents". I asked a lady where was that line and she took me there. I gave my passport and AP paperwork to the CPB agent, I waited about 15 minutes and he called my name, he requested my fingerprints and picture. After that the only question he asked was: what are the last 4 digits of your SSN, after that he spent about 10 more minutes and I was good to go. He gave me both AP papers, only one had the stamp and he also stamped my passport.
It was pretty simple, I encourage everyone to apply. People in Atlanta are very aware about AP,

Hi I was wondering if you could let me know what evidence did you sent since I'm about to apply for the AP and my grandma is going to go through same surgery and I want to know what document to request so I can sent with my application. If you can please let me know I will greatly appreciated and also if you could let me know you time line so I can have an ideas, please and thank you. And I live in Atlanta so I'm happy to hear they didn't give you any trouble here.

Basically when you land back in the US and go through immigration, you'll have your fingers scanned and pass the officer your AP. They will take you into the secondary screening room where they will stamp your AP. They may or may not ask questions- I guess it depends on the officer and how they're feeling at the time. Then you're free to go!

I received AP a few months ago for work related purposes. I traveled to Europe for a few days. In January I need to travel again, this time to Canada. I was wondering if I could ask for multiple entries to avoid paying the $360 every time I have to travel for work. And what should I type on Part 3: Expected Length of Trip (in days). Im hoping to get an AP good for a year.
hi, have you apply for multiple entries with AP?? once u get approved can u go to another country that u didn't apply for after u when to the one u ask for ??? just wondering !

I am 17 years old, came to US at age 2 EWI. I currently have DACA and wanted to adjust my status. I filed for Advanced Parole in Dec 2015, and had it approved Jan 2016. I went to my home country for 6 days to visit my sick grandfather. On the way to Peru, nothing besides my passport was asked for. On my return at the check in for my flight back to the US, the lady had no idea what DACA or AP was. She had to call over a supervisor who did not understand English. After explaining to her supervisor what DACA AP was they finally gave me my boarding pass. While waiting for my plane at the the gate, the flight attendant came up to me and asked me "traveling with Visa or Residency" and i replied "neither, I have advanced parole with DACA" and she asked me to follow her while she went to her coworkers and i had to show them my AP approval papers. When arriving in the US, i went to the non-citizens line. A very serious immigration officer asked me what i was traveling with and i said "thank god finally someone who speaks English" and he didnt even smile, thats when i knew i had to be serious. I had rehearsed with my parents what to say at this point. He asked me my age, my name, my home country, why I went, and where i stayed. Then he took me into another room in the back where they question people. He told the officers "this girl claims to have advanced parole". I got very scared at that moment. The other officers saw my face and asked "how old are you? 12?" i laughed and said "no i am 17" and they said "ok go sit in the waiting room, we'll get you back to your parents in a couple minutes" and i replied "ok good cause i have school in 2 hours". I guess at this point my age played to my advantage. The first officer brought me back to be interrogated but since i am a minor they cannot keep me for too long. The officers made small talk to me while i waited in the waiting area, asked me what college im going to, and promised me that i would be back with my family in no time, i guess they saw how scared i was. Took maybe 10 minutes in total and they stamped my passport and an employee even helped me carry my luggage until i reached my parents. Before my trip i was terrified, a minor flying alone to a country I had not been to in 15 years, and knowing no one there. I am so lucky to have had no problems traveling. To anyone traveling with DACA AP, there is nothing illegal about AP so do not be intimidated by anyone, you are doing nothing wrong.

Hi everyone,

I'm curious. I am married to a US Citizen, after I come back to the US with Advance Parole what is my next step. I know I can adjust status but what forms do I have to submit in order to do that? Do I have to have an I-130 approved first? Thank you for your feedback.

Hello Everyone,

I am also married to a US Citizen and want to start the process of advance parole. My uncle is sick in Mexico and I asked if he could ask his doctor for a letter so I can go see him. My uncle is wanting me to send him a rough draft of what his primary doctor has to say. That what I need help with. Does anyone know or have a sample letter that I can use to send him what to say in the letter? I want to word it correctly so it does get approved and I can get this permit.

Thanks please let me know.

AP Approved!

Hi DACA fam! Glory be to God! I received my Advance Parole documents in the mail 2/20/2016! It took less than two months for them to approve my case. It was weird because I signed up for notifications and I wasn't notified it was approved. I just received the docs. I didn't get any follow-up questions, so the original application and supporting documents (a 35-page packet) were sufficient. I requested one month and they approved the exact dates, no less, no more. I wish I had requested a larger time frame because now the original dates I planned to travel have changed due to work.

I have already booked my flight to the Philippines as of today. I cannot believe I will be meeting my biological family for the first time I plan to document the experience on YouTube. Even though this forum has been a holy grail for me, I think it will be helpful for all future AP applicants to see the process truly documented. I'll post the links up once I get the channel going.

Hey everyone, I plan on traveling out of the US in July, I have not started my AP application at all, I talked to a lawyer and she told me it's a 50/50 chance they let me back into the US. I was a bit scared once she told me that. But I have been reading all of your stories on here and I feel hopeful. I want to leave the country for humanitarian reasons, being, I have not seen my grandparents for more than 17 years and their health is deteriorating. I plan on being out for about 2 weeks in July, but the lawyer told me it would be better if I waited until I was married to a US citizen but that's not anytime soon. She said that because if I would be married my back up plan would me my spouse being able to fix my status here in the US in case they would not let me back into the country. I plan to travel to Mexico with my three younger siblings who are all US citizens. Please give me some feedback, I would really appreciate.
