Advanced parole document was mailet to me 3/16/2016

Everybody, I' am so happy. today March 16th wednesday DOCUMENT WAS MAILED TO ME. i131 AP request.

Help me a little here. I know document was mailed to me today Wednesday. and i really want to be in my country on semana santa (easter week) so Do you guys think I can go ahead and book my flight for Tuesday 22 OR Wednesday 23rd.... Am i safe there.. do you think by that time i've already received document by mail.. by the way another reason i want this date is because for some reason flights are very cheap to my destination leaving that day. normally $580 and now $306.00 i will buy 2 tickets ME +1 (MY LITTLE SON.)... AND worse case if I dont have document in hand can I still travel without it. and have it send to me once it arrives., ???

Make sure you have the documents before boarding any planes coming back into the U.S. They won't let you board a plane without a visa, green card, or AP. What country are you visiting if I may ask?

Guatemala, I just booked my flight for next wednesday, 8 days from Now. I took the risk, to get cheapest flight price. Worse case i will change departure date 24 hours before, if not received by tuesday.' But definatly not getting on a plane without AP document.

Whatever happens just make sure you leave the country on or after the "issue date" and come back before the expiry date PLEASE.

First of all congras for approving AP!
However, i would not book my seat right now, the reason being is that i applied for AP in October last year to leave on November 15. When i received my AP it said i can leave anytime from December 1st. So, wait until you receive your AP and see what is the date you can actually leave USA. Same thing happened with my sister, she applied in December and she received her AP in Feb stating that she can leave anytime after march 15.
