E-mailed USCIS (mine is first-time DACA, not renewal), and got this. Seems like termination was an error:

Your case is awaiting the required biometrics submittal, and is currently in suspense until you complete this process. Your application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for biometrics at their local Application Support Center (ASC).

Did you receive the paper notification? if you did, what does it say?

I wonder what it could say if it is an error...

Is this happening to second time renewals or is it happening across the board?

It will not state that it is an error. What it should state from the service center is that your I-821D is in the normal process.

From what I can see, it has nothing to do with intervals one has applied. It has to do specifically with the IOE case number and its associated case status being reported prematurely wrong for DACA applicants.

Seems to be the case as I just received a notification for biometrics even though myUSCIS still says my application was terminated.

So it doesn't seem like anyone renewing, first or second time, is getting any case numbers aside from the IOE? If someone have a receipt with LIN or WAC, please let us know!

Well, so far the only people whose DACA has been terminated are the ones who applied for the mavni and its those who are reporting it here

That's incorrect. My status is currently terminated and I have never applied for MAVNI.
