Congrats!!! Don't forget to apply for the Permanent Residence 90 days before your conditional green card expires.

I am planning on doing it this weekend and I am freaking out.
I had my advance parole document, both of them. I had my passport and Driver License and brought my Work Authorization card also just to be sure. I went through the first immigration agent and he told me to go to a room and sit and that they will call me up (he stamped my passport). I went in there sat for like 5 minutes and they called me up and the guy stamped my AP documents and told me I was good to go. I didn't even believe how quick the process was.

Yeah I know where you coming from, I felt the same way at first. I had a nice car, a good job, and my family in good health. Life was real good but then I started thinking hard about the "what if". What if they cancel DACA, what if Trump wins the Presidency, what if we cannot renew later. I couldn't see myself starting back at zero and not being able to do what we are doing now, I also want to join the military and give back to the country that raised us. I had my fun and now I wanted to take it the next level and get married and have fun with my special someone and create new special moments. I wanted to do all that and also have my status here adjusted Permanently so that I did not have to worry so much about it later on.

Congratulations! Do you know if your spouse is able to sponsor your parents? (If they are undocumented here in the US). Or do you have to wait until you become a US Citizen before you can sponsor them?

My spouse will not be able to sponsor my parents since they are not immediate relatives to her. I will have to wait and become a citizen and sponsor them.

How long does it take to become citizen? 3 years since the conditional green card?
