Trying to see what was the least serious issue someone received AP for and also what the letter stated. Trying to do my AOS but don't really have a lot of family in my home country like that.

Sister was having surgery. Sent letters from doctors explaining the procedure, how many days she would be on bed rest, and the date of the surgery. I also sent hospital bills. Then I put the a copy of the English translation in the front. I also sent a WEB MD describtion of the surgery.

Grandmother very sick, on her deathbed. I sent in copies of paperwork from her doctors/hospital along with mine and my dad's birth certificates to show relationship and photos of us together when I was younger

HI, did you sent the original doctor's letter or a copy of it? I had planned on having my family email me a doctor's letter of my ailing grandmother, or should I go ahead and ask my family to mail me the original letter? Thanks!

I had my family scan in the letter and email it to me. you don't need to submit the original.

I had my family email the documents to me as well. No need for originals, just make sure you get someone to translate them. Good luck!

OK, great! Thank you so much for your reply. One of my aunts already emailed me some documents from the hospital, I am waiting on a Doctor's letter now (my dad is working on it).

Also, did you have the documents translated at a translating company with the company's seal and everything or just someone you know translated them for you? Thanks again!
