AP RFE Question

Hi, I recently received my RFE in the mail.

My first question is, do RFEs usually not state an explicit reason for the request? My letter just states "please provide additional information about your proposed travel". This seems rather vague considering I put as much evidence as possible in my initial request.

My second question is, do they only accept RFE responses using the enclosed envelope provided with the RFE? The envelope is unusually small and I doubt it would fit 5 sheets of paper. So is it okay to use a 8x11 envelope in this case?

No I think you can use a different medium to send your stuff.

Provide additional details as to what the AP is for and what evidence you had enclosed so that we can assist you further.

I'm glad I'm not the only person on this boat.. I also got RFE 2 weeks ago, and I sent what they were asking for right away with priority mail. I was hesitant to use express mail with the big envelop because on the letter they specifically stated "please use the envelope enclosed."

It's been 11 days since they received my response, but no status update yet.. (
