That's it, I'm totally not going to pay this increase in protest and not get a green card.

I actually would like daca to cease so only those in the MAVNI program can benefit.
Not what I wanted to convey. If it was 10k or 20k it would suck, but with planning and due diligence it would not be an issue and I would deal with it. That is all I am promoting here; due diligence.

I fully appreciate the harsh circumstances that some people are in. However, there is another group of Dreamers who act irresponsibly and should not be struggling to come up with $500 every two years.

So you are saying that people will not come up with $1,000 for DACA?

Not very smart when you spend that $1,000 for a wedding, car, school. DACA is the most important don't you think?

Well I could be selfish (Republican) and say yeah raise it $1k all across. Screw those that earn minimum wage and only let alpha DACAers prosper. **sarcasm**

Not everybody can afford $1k, you need to think about other people as well. I have no problem paying $1k or $10k every 2 years but that's not the point. I make enough money to cover those payments, but not everybody else does.

They reason they have DACA is so that they can pay for all this, isn't that the point? And while I do agree that a lot of people can't afford $500 every two years, I do agree that they should make every effort to. One dollar a day isn't much, and heck, some banks even do it automatically for you, where they transfer $1 to your savings every day.

Wait, they can come up with $1,000 for other things but not DACA?

Wait, we are continuing this pointless hypothetical discussion about priorities and realities of economic situations?

I really don't care about the cost. I just want to see eDACA get passed soon.
