So in June I'll be taking a flight from Memphis to Houston with United airlines. I was wondering if I can use my ead card to board the plane ,since my state is making it hard for us dreamers to get a id.

You can do it with your passport too. Either one is no problem

I tried traveling with just my EAD when I first got it and the TSA agent did not recognize what it was and needed to further verify. She asked if I had any other ID and I just used my passport at that point.

"Immigration and Naturalization Service Employment Authorization Card (I-766)"

We have the I-765, so they might give you some trouble.

I-765 is the application. The card itself is I-766

Hector, I recommend getting your passport validated soon.

You never know if Obama does another executive action and legalize us. Most likely you will need a non-expired passport.

Sometimes is good to dream.
