38 days and NO BIOMETRICS APPOINTMENT - Page 5

^Nebraska. Sent it around 140 days mark, along with someone else's renewal. Both 3rd time renewal, the other one had bio in like 5 days, I'm in 5th week so yeahhh. Goddamn it.

So I called USCIS with my e-request reference # and they could not find it and put in a another service request. They cannot provide any update on the matter as to why I have not received a biometric appt. I did not get any letter to create an account on the ELIS portal either. I am almost at the 60 days mark since I mailed my application.

My EAD expires 08/12/2016. Any thoughts or others in the same situation?

Out of curiosity, did you receive in the mail a letter to create an online account? Mine just stated notice received and that biometrics appointment will be mailed.

^Received the online account mail right away, I didn't create it for another week though, not sure if that has any bearing on it. Counting down to 45th day this Friday and I'll probably call in, never had to before but my exp is coming up on 9/7.

I'm only waiting 12 business days so far for my biometrics. No online account mail even though I did get an IOE#. There seems to be no rhyme or reason about why some renewals are getting a biometrics appointment within days and others weeks.

Ok here's my latest update.

After calling in for service request on 5/13.
I wasn't sure if she REALLY put a service request or not so I e-requested on the following Monday (5/16).

So 5/13's answer was make an infopass appt. to talk to a service center agent. They cannot provide further information about why my appt. is not set. So I did made an appt. it's set for 6/6.

And I just received an answer for 5/16's e-request saying that I will be scheduled to attend an ASC in due course.

So hopefully, they're sending it by this week...
Or I'll have to attend that infopass appt. to figure out what is going on with my status.


Mine is initial request and it'll be 120 days on the 8th of June.

@msdreamer1111 can you please do a recap real quick what's the issue with your application.

06/01 I called USCIS to for an update on my biometrics, spoke to tier 2 officer ansd all she could tell me is that my biometrics are current as of 02/00/16....this is weird as I did not get my biometrics appt letter and was at work on that date.

I am stressing out ... anyone else in the situation or can help understand this situation.
